Course Description

This three-year bachelor degree program prepares students for Ministry by providing them with foundational knowledge in Biblical and Theological Studies, an understanding of the contemporary world, and the ministry skills necessary for their work as Minsters.

Program Overview

*Three-Year Degree program (120 credit hours)
This accelerated program is offered 90% online, students are advised to prepare for Ordination and credentialing after.

Learning Objectives

In addition to the Learning Outcomes, on successful completion of this bachelor degree program, it is expected that students will:

Have a sound knowledge of the Biblical and Theological basis for their Christian faith, including understanding Theological tradition;
Have a better understanding of the context in which they minister;
Have broadened and strengthened their ministry skills;
Have the skills necessary for ongoing study and research in order to continue to be informed Christian leaders in a changing world;
Be developing a Christian worldview which will enable them to live as Christian witnesses and to serve as Christian leaders in society.

Program Admission and Continuance Criteria

This Bachelor’s degree program is open to all students, who have completed their Associate degree or equivalent.

Program Requirements

Students complete a total of 120 credit hours in this Bachelor’s degree program with two major components: 60 credit hours completed during an associate program and 60 credit hours must be taken in the second half of the program in Biblical and Theological Studies.

Minimum Required Program GPA: 2.0
Minimum required GPA in all courses that constitute the major: 2.0
